PERSIANA BEER & BAR
LEROS, GREECE | 2023
The Persiana Beer & Grill Bar is a new beer restaurant located in Lakki, Leros.
The purpose of the owners was to create a warm and inviting place for all months of the year. Materials have been chosen to give a Retro and Industrial character to the shop, such as wood, metal, leather, while space is easily adapted to the needs of both a restaurant and a bar.
All walls were covered with cement mortar, the façade of the bar was covered with retro geometric tiles, the quartz cement pit. Above the bar is a metallic construction to accommodate the needs of the bar, while hidden lighting has been incorporated to illuminate the bench.
Leather sofas have been placed under the shutter structure while the wall was covered with a sticker showing the brewing process on a school board.
Several storage areas have been created for the needs of the staff, who have also been lined with cement mortar, creating a unified effect in space.
The use of vintage stools in the bar, handmade tables and minimal chairs combines in a way that creates a harmonious effect in space.
At the top and right of the store, a volume is invested in both axles of old traditional wooden shutters (Persiana in Italian means shutter) whereby mechanical equipment and television were built.
Finally, vintage metallic inscriptions were placed on the walls in various shapes, with elements referring to brands of alcoholic beverages and breweries.
Customers' retro-styled metal lamps have been placed in our customer room, designed by our office. In the sanitary area, minimal linear luminaires were placed in combination with the use of spatulable cement mortar on the walls.
