ALIDIAN BAY SUITES
LEROS, GREECE | 2023
The owners have asked to renovate the rooms in such a way that the island style is dominated by minimal elements. Since there were no interventions in building blocks and redesigning the rooms, our office work concerned the decoration of the rooms and their equipment.
In the bathroom walls, built benches, built-in shower was used the use of a trowel of cement plaster in various shades with mild water and spatula.
The beds were built and the bedside tables were built, which was an
extension of the beds. Created sofas in the living rooms, built benches
in the kitchens and built benches that play the role of shelf furniture.

The shapes that were preferred to created creations are based on
parametric design and point to waves, giving a result of plasticity in
space.

space.
All the built surfaces were covered with white cement plaster. In the built wardrobes, instead of using wooden doors, it was preferable to create bamboo canvases in its natural hue and to place hidden lighting inside, creating a shadow toy in the evening.
Since false ceilings could not be created from plasterboard, suspended ceilings were laid out of reed-shaped wood in the shape of an asymmetrical parametric (waves) on one side of the ceiling rather than the entire surface. The choice of materials is white plaster, bamboo reed, natural reed, cement, mirrors, wood, ropes, hand-made luminaires, earthy fabrics, pillows with bright shades, modern furniture, so the final result creates a harmonious aesthetic effect.
All rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea.
