RENCON OFFICE
LEROS, GREECE | 2020
The owner invited our office to design the headquarters of two companies that would gather all their functions in a modern and comfortable environment.
The offices will be developed on the ground floor of a building in Lakki Leros.
In order to differentiate the classical rectangular structure, it was chosen to construct slanted glass partitions, creating more energetic volumes, resulting in each area of the office being larger and more connected to the one next to it.
Office functions require visual communication and a direct relationship between employees, while at the same time creating the illusion of a larger space.
At the entrance of the offices a waiting area for customers and employees has been created.
Wanting to take advantage of the intrusion of plenty of natural lighting, the left wall of the waiting area was chosen to be planted with natural plants creating a courtyard in the interior.
On the left side there is an oblong oblique office space to meet customer requirements.
On the right hand side a director's office is created with a view to all office locations. It also hosts the main meeting room, ensuring conditions for constructive meetings, presentations, etc.
In the background there is a room for the archive, shared kitchen for the workers and shared wc.
The materials chosen to be used are glass, wood, metal, minimal furniture, white walls, anthracite ceilings.
A special shading system is installed in all glass partitions to protect against the sun and create the necessary privacy conditions.
