The first application of the Case Study Room took place for the first time at the 100% Hotel Show 2018 and was presented after an architectural competition that had the design of an original hotel room.
The 2728studio office team, through this proposal, wants to present a hotel room that exudes a sense of relaxation.
The basic elements of design are the emergence of Greek architecture through a modern interpretation, the use of Greek materials, originality and luxury.
The central element of the room is the lining of the masonry with wood blinds based on parametric design and special software.
The masonry creates a flow, a movement of plasticity resembles a wave on the beach and offers rhythm and relaxation.
Three levels are created in the room. On the first level is placed a headboard - furniture composition - which has various uses. Wooden blinds are placed on it creating a more private space. The open cabinet and the marble washbasin on the back surround the space.
On the second level, the bed is placed in a central spot and is higher than the rest of the room. It comes into contact with the ground that is lined with wood.
We want this contact to be restored to visitors because it is forgotten and is of particular importance to the human being.
On the third level and the lowest a courtyard space is created which is integrated with the rest of the room. The masonry on one side acts like a sofa that extends outwards, which in combination with the table and pillows placed on the floor create a point of relaxation and relaxation. On the opposite side a free-standing bathtub is placed, bringing the customer into contact with the exterior view of the room.
On the ceiling, a combination of a marble plaster in anthracite shade with natural plants that are placed inside a canvas of canes. The vegetation, the scents from the foliage and the reflections of the style that appear in the lighting, create a calm environment that is what we are asking nowadays.
Materials such as copper and black coal, wood, reed, marble, natural materials, white and gray fabrics create a harmonious result that inspires travelers to create their experiences.
